Kaiser
Kaiser Motors, originally known as Kaiser-Frazer Corporation, was an American automobile manufacturer that made its mark in the post-World War II era, starting operations in 1945. Founded by industrialist Henry J. Kaiser and automobile executive Joseph W. Frazer, Kaiser Motors was innovative in its approach, introducing fresh designs and concepts to a market that was hungry for new automobiles. The brand is notably remembered for the Kaiser Darrin, one of the first American sports cars, which featured a fiberglass body and distinctive sliding doors. Despite pioneering efforts and a bold approach to car manufacturing, Kaiser Motors struggled to compete with the Big Three automakers and eventually ceased car production in the United States in 1955. The company shifted focus to international markets before ultimately merging with Willys-Overland and concentrating on utility vehicles, most famously producing the Jeep.
