Nash Motors was an innovative American automobile manufacturer that left a significant mark on the automotive industry from its founding in 1916 until its merger into American Motors Corporation (AMC) in 1954. One of Nash's most significant contributions was the development of the compact Nash Rambler in the early 1950s, which challenged the prevailing trend towards larger vehicles and is considered a forerunner of today's compact cars.
