About Eagle

Eagle was an American automobile brand that was part of the Chrysler Corporation, created to compete in the burgeoning market for innovative and performance-oriented vehicles during the late 1980s and early 1990s. Launched in 1988 after Chrysler acquired American Motors Corporation (AMC), Eagle was aimed at a niche market of auto enthusiasts looking for unique and versatile vehicles. The brand was known for models such as the Eagle Talon, a part of the Diamond-Star Motors (DSM) joint venture with Mitsubishi, which offered a blend of performance and practicality. Other notable models included the Eagle Vision, a full-size sedan that was ahead of its time with its cab-forward design. Despite its innovative product lineup, the Eagle brand was discontinued in 1998 as Chrysler streamlined its operations and brand strategy following its merger with Daimler-Benz.
